London Mayor has announced the results of a study which has revealed that last year’s expansion of ULEZ has resulted in 4.4% reduction in NO2 levels across the capital. Nitrogen oxides (often termed as NOx) emissions in outer London have been estimated to be 13% lower for cars and 7% lower for vans. London Mayor claimed that London is now the home to the world’s largest Clean Air Zone, significantly reducing harmful effects of air pollution.
